Brain Games
Why: Focus on logic and reasoning skills
#1: 2-min Break
A farmer in Michigan owns a beautiful pear tree. She supplies the fruit to a nearby grocery store. This past summer, the store owner called the farmer to see how much fruit is available for him to purchase. The farmer knows that the main trunk has 24 branches. Each branch has exactly 12 boughs and each bough has exactly 6 twigs. Since each twig bears one piece of fruit, how many plums will the farmer be able to deliver?

#2: 3-min of Focus
Alex, Beatrix, Rose, and Lily all attend the same summer camp, where they can cook, kayak, rock climb, and zip-line. Each child has a different favorite activity:
Alex’s favorite activity isn’t rock climbing
Beatrix is afraid of heights
Rose can’t do her favorite activity without a harness
Lily likes to keep her feet on the ground at all times
Who likes which activity?
